The Finished Product
Today’s post is an interview of Chef Drew by Mom. (He’s too busy drawing a fortress to type today.)
Mom: What did you think of the tarts?
Drew: They were really good but they took a long time to make.
Mom: What do you remember about the day we made them?
Drew: You mean other than eating them? Waiting for them to cool took a loooong time.
Mom: What did you think about the recipe?
Drew: One thing we weren’t sure about was whether to keep the metal bottoms in the pans. [Note from Mom: We agonized about this and ultimately decided to follow the instructions. We took out the bottoms and used a SilPat liner. They came out fine.]
Mom: Would you make them again?
Drew: Yeah. Duh.
Slideshow of the Process:
On January 23 we made bread. From scratch. My mom and I each made a pan.

It was really good. My favorite part was eating it.
Erik had made himself a “house”. Erik was walking one day and he saw something on the horizon. Looked like a human. “Erik.” He said. “I am your grand-father.” Erik ran up to him and hugged him. “Hi.” Said Erik. Erik brought him to his house. Erik noticed a newspaper clipping in his hand. “Can I read this?” Asked Erik. “Sure.” Said the man. Erik picked the newspaper clipping up. It read:
MAN DISSAPEARS FROM
FACE OF EARTH
A man disappeared from the
face of the earth. He
disappeared at 7:00
last night at Pearl Dock last night.
The rest of the paper was torn of so Erik could not read it. “That’s how my dad and I got here.” Said Erik. “Where are we and when are we?” asked the old man. “I do not now.” Replied Erik. That night Erik had given up his bed too the old man. Erik slept on the floor beside the bed
The next morning Erik noticed that the man was gone. Erik looked all around but could not find him. Erik put on his backpack and went outside. He walked over a couple of mountains and found a dock called Pearl dock. He noticed a slip of paper on the ground it read:
I am in the time that you where born. I am going too kill your past self. You will never get here in time.
I am not our grandfather.
Erik though too himself that he must save his life. Then he remembered, “I am on pearl dock of course.” He said. “Start up wind!” Erik felt a breeze coming in. Erik was lifted into the air and disappeared.
Erik landed on the ground with a thump. He stood up and ran to his old house. He saw the old man. “Stop!” Shouted Erik. The old man stood up. He had a dagger in his hand. Erik found a rock at the man. The rock just bounced off! “I will kill you!” Shouted the old man. Erik hopped on the motorcycle and started it. And drove it right into the man. Erik jumped off at the last second. Then the motorcycle ran into the man. Once again it just bounced off! Suddenly the man tore off his skin.
Erik looked at the man. He ran forward and Erik pulled out his gun and shot the thing. It exploded in lots of green and red stuff. Erik went back out too his old cabin on Pearl Dock. And went outside and said. “Wind start up again!” The wind started up once again. And Erik went back to his “house.”
The man was walking too the market when he fell on the ground. When he hit the ground he fell on something hard. When he got up he figured out that he had fallen on a rock. The rock had busted open when he looked down he saw a scroll. He picked the scroll up it read,
WHO EVER RECEIVES THIS SCROLL
DO NOT TELL ANY BODY
JUST GO TO PEARL
DOCK AT 7:00
At 7:00 the man went to Pearl dock. When he got there he didn’t see anybody or anything. Suddenly there was a huge gust of wind. The man was whipped off his feet.
40 years later
“Dad when can I go outside?” Asked Erik. “Its to wet.” Said Erik’s dad. Ran pounded on the window of the house on Pearl dock. Once Erik got too go outside he noticed something. Something that wasn’t there before. When Erik got closer he noticed a it was a body a dead body. “Dad!” Shouted Erik. When Erik’s Dad got there he murmured “No oh, Oh No!” “What?” Asked Erik. Suddenly Erik felt a big gush of wind, luckily Erick grabbed on a lamppost. Erik’s Dad wasn’t so lucky he was whisked away into the air. “Dad!” Shouted Erik over the wind. There was no answer.
10 years later
I will save my dad, thought Erik. So on Tuesday night Erik went outside and stood there. “Wind start up again, take me like you took my dad!” Nothing happened. Then it happened after 10 minutes of waiting a wind started too blow in Erik’s face. The wind started too blow harder then Erik was nowhere to be found, except in the air. When the wind stopped Erik found himself in a big glass tube labeled #3. Erik banged on the glass “Hey!” “Let me out!” Then Erik felt a cold sensation coming from his feet he was being frozen…
100,000,000 years later
The glass door banged open Erik fell out. Rubbing his head Erik asked, “Where am I?” No one answered. Erik stood up “Dad?” Once again no one answered. Erik walked around suddenly like something coming out of now where. Erik saw his Dad. Erik ran up to him and hugged him “Dad.” Erik noticed something strange about his dads back. There was an arrow shot in him. Over the horizon he saw lots of humans all murmuring, “Kill Erik.” Erik ran away found a pistol and lots of ammo. Then Erik got behind a turned over car and started to shoot. Blood splattered on Erik’s face. He killed all of them except one because Erik was out of ammo. Erik saw the human coming closer. Luckily Erik found a pipe he threw it and killed the last person.
